ABOUT ME

I've been teaching music for 32 years in Conroe I.S.D. I've taught K through 6th grades general music, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade choir, and 8th through 10th grade choir. I've been teaching music at Coulson Tough since it opened in 2002.

I have four children, Michael, age 21, Bryan, 22, Christen, 24, and Christopher, 26. I am a graduate of Conroe High School and received my BME from Abilene Christian University. I have my Kodaly certifications in music from Sam Houston State University.

I have a love for performance and have participated in the Montgomery County Choral Society for about 17 years. I've had many roles in Conroe's Crighton players musical productions over the past two decades playing such parts as Maria in "The Sound of Music", Marian in "The Music Man", Millie in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", Anna in "The King and I", the fairy godmother in "Cinderella" and Guinevere in "Camelot" to name a few of my favorites.

I'm thrilled to be back again this year with our wonderful faculty, staff and our fabulous student body at Coulson Tough!!!
